Adding lash extensions to a person's eyelashes can have a substantial impact. Some of these people might want to use mascara as well.
It's Often Possible to Add Certain Kinds of Mascara to The Extensions
Some customers will specifically be interested in extensions for their eyelashes because they're trying to go without mascara for a while. The extensions can already make a customer's eyelashes look long and bountiful.
However, some people will want to try different looks while they have these sorts of extensions. They might also be able to get relatively light extensions if they're planning on adding mascara to them anyway, which might give customers more choices.
Customers who use mascara on their extensions will need to use mascara that is water-based. Many professional stylists will be able to offer advice when it comes to selecting the right brand, or they will provide one for their customers themselves.
However, it is still important for customers to be careful when adding this sort of mascara to their extensions. The people who are not going to do so should still brush their extensions every day, and they will want to make use of a mascara wand that is completely clean. They'll also need to be careful about moistening the extensions for a little while after the extensions are first put into place.
It Takes a Day or So For the Adhesive Attached to the Extensions to be Dry Enough
People can obviously still wash their faces if they have these sorts of extensions. However, they are going to need to stop themselves from doing so for at least a day, and it is better to wait for a couple of days. Once that time period has passed, they will be able to wash their entire faces, take showers, swim in pools, and use saunas or spas. However, before that point, they are going to need to be mindful of water and water vapor, or the adhesive connected to the extensions will be in danger. They won't have to worry about the adhesive for other reasons.
The Adhesive Connected to the Extensions is Not Harmful
Given the design of these extensions, the adhesive will actually not touch a person's skin at all. They will still be properly attached, but people are not going to have to be concerned with skin irritation or any of the other issues that might have occurred otherwise.
